Marrakech Airport to the Medina: Transfer Options & Prices Explained
Short answer: Marrakech Menara airport (RAK) is only 6 km from the Medina — about 15–20 minutes by car. A pre-booked private transfer is the most stress-free option because cars cannot enter the narrow lanes and your driver walks you to the riad door.

Option 2: Petit taxi
Taxis wait outside the terminal. Agree on the price before leaving and make sure the driver knows your riad — many are hidden in alleys and the taxi will stop at the nearest gate.
Option 3: Airport bus
The airport bus runs to Jemaa el-Fna and Gueliz. It is cheap, but you will still need to find your riad on foot with your luggage.
